The Distribution Division of Duckworth Logistics was formed in 1997 to assist with the requirements of one of our major Freight Forwarding Clients.

They were about to embark on a new form of electronic Order processing to the Coles Myer Group, this became the process now known as EANway. This new technology required a fresh approach to the Logistics and Distribution of products to larger supply chain companies.

Our role in this new venture was to establish the complete processing function for EDI Orders that were to be transmitted to this Client.
Duckworth Logistics had no reservations in investing both time and money into this new process as it was destined to be pivotal in the future of a large number of companies.

Although it seems to have been a short period of time since we started, in those years we have earned recognition as a Third Party Logistics provider, and now meet all of the requirements of the Coles Myer Group’s EANway process.
This venture was the starting point for the in-house development of a number of unique processing methods. These methods have made the Distribution Division one of the leaders in this Industry.

Through the decades Duckworth Logistics has been able to diversify to suit changing nvironments and customer requirements and today we offer a large range of value added services.
