Sea Freight - Cubic Metre Conversion
To establish the CBM of a consignment:
- Convert all measurements to METRES
- Mulitply the greatest LENGTH x the greatest WIDTH x the
greatest HEIGHT of the consignment or its packages
- The resultant amount is the CBM of the consignment
EXAMPLE:
The dimensions of a consigment are 1.3m x 1.2m x 1.9m
1.3 x 1.2 x 1.9 = 2.97 CBM
